Music is everywhere--from television and radio to the world wide web and portable devices--and touches nearly every aspect of our lives. Yet, in today's world, recorded music is mainstream. We so infrequently hear live music that we no longer connect with music in its truest form. Music is a performance art and, played live, allows us to "see" how each note is played, to "hear" the unedited sounds of the instruments, and to "feel" the passion in the music.
As the name suggests, Chagrin Light seeks to enlighten our audiences and musicians by sharing live musical experiences and advancing and promoting the art of music. We strive to connect with our audience--young and old--by incorporating stories, interaction and fun into our performances. We hope you will join us on our journey.
